The New James Bond Film Will Feature a Jaguar Hypercar
This new Jaguar Hypercar will be featured on the next James Bond film.
After we’ve seen what James Bond will be wearing and driving in Spectre, it is time to see what the anti-hero will be driving.
Like in any other films, Spectre’s action is spinning on the fight between good and evil. And like any other James Bond films, we get to see the most expensive cars that will be driven by our characters.
This Jaguar will be another supercar featured alongside other models from the JLR’s Special Operations division in the upcoming ‘Spectre’ film.
The film will be Bond’s 24th outing on the big screen, so we’ll get to see some of the most amazing cars, accessories and badass moves.
This Jaguar C-X75 was developed in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering.
The car will feature a car chase sequence set in Rome, and will have a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine, instead of using its existing hybrid powertrain, for filming purposes.
It is expected that the car will be used by the film’s villains who will try catching Bond when he will be driving the Aston Martin DB10.
The managing director of the Special Operations division, John Edwards, said: “This is an exciting partnership for Jaguar Land Rover and an opportunity to demonstrate the fantastic capabilities of the Special Operations team.”
James Bond fans know that JLR vehicles have been featured in Bond films in the past.
The Jaguar XJ8 and XKR both made appearances in 2006’s Casino Royale, while the XKR was also used in 2002’s Die Another Day.
And the Land Rover Defender was also used in the most recent Bond film, Skyfall.
The guy that will be driving the Jaguar, the bad guy, is Hinx, an assassin played by Guardians of the Galaxy’s Dave Bautista.
Do you think that the 6′ 6″ former wrestling champion, who has a weight of almost 300 pounds, will even fit in the car?
But after all, that’s what body doubles are for, right?
And it won’t matter, because we get to see Dave Bautista chase James Bond in that car, so it will be worth the waiting and the whining.
