8Micca Club
Once an enormous wine cellar, Micca Club has turned the winding passages and tunnels of its underground space into a swanky burlesque and swing dancing club unlike any venue in the city.
The space is dominated by a huge circular staircase, at the base, a fountain, and a big dance floor with columns and soaring, arched ceilings.
The sounds are billed as ideal for anyone who likes the “sweet notes” of grand piano, the psychedelic rock of a Hammond organ or the dance beat of Antonio Carlos Jobim.
Once the burlesque wraps up, the party gets into full gear as swing dancers pack the retro-lit dance floor to the sounds of big band tunes.
