For $8,000 this startup is helping the wealthy to beat ageing, by simply filling their veins with teen blood. How far would you go to stop ageing?
Turns out, there is a startup that thinks they can help you stop ageing by simply doing this outrageous thing!
How far would you to find the cure for eternal life? Would you like to have your veins filled with teenage blood in order to achieve eternal life?
People spend billions of dollars every year in search for something known as life extension science, popularly known as anti-ageing experimental gerontology.
There is a startup that believes they have achieved just that. Named Ambrosia, the startup thinks there is a simpler solution to slow down ageing, if not, they believe it can even cheat death completely.
A while ago, at the Recode conference in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, the leader of Ambrosia discussed about his idea.
Surely others think that it is a crazy idea, but he believes:
“I’m looking into parabiosis stuff, which I think is really interesting.
This is where they did the young blood into older mice and they found that had a massive rejuvenating effect,”
I think there are a lot of these things that have been strangely under-explored.”
The startup thinks that young blood can actually help others slow ageing, because it has health benefits for older adults.
The company is asking for $8,000 for blood transfusions from people under 25.
How many people have signed up?
So far, around 150 people have signed up to receive an infusion, according to Jesse Karmazin, the CEO of Ambrosia.
If you have over 35 years old, you can easily become one of their customers.
They also buy their supply from blood banks, who also sells blood to pharmaceutical companies.
Did the company really found the cure for ageing?
But he stressed that the company does not claim that it can cure aging.
Instead it’s an experiment and Karmazin hopes to get hundreds of more Ambrosia customers in order to study whether this anti-aging method will actually work.
Would you try it?
**Maybe the wealthiest people in the world could afford to have their veins filled with young blood. See who they are:
