Equal to Sweden with 82 years of life expectancy is Norway. It also has the same years for female (84 years) and male (80 years) with the fellow Scandinavian country.
One of the obvious reasons of Norwegian’s longevity is their high rate of per capita income. Norway has approximately $70,000 per person which is the world’s number 4. It is only exceeded by two city-states and one other country.
So, Norwegians are surprisingly rich. They are also well-educated. About 40% of 5 million Norwegians have completed postsecondary education. This makes them the best educated people in Europe.
They are rich and smart. Is there any other reason? Yes, they are healthy. Norway has won the highest number of combined Summer and Winter Olympic medals per capita.
