The same happened with an executive, Hoffman Ma, who spent $420,000 in addition to the 25% buyer’s premium for the famous glove.
He wore the famous iconic sequined glove from a 1983 performance of Billie Jean when he did his trademarked moonwalk for the first time.
The glove was the centerpiece of the auction at the Hard Rock Cafe in 2009.It was first estimated, it will go for $40,000-$60,000 but it went for over 8 times that amount.
