12. Taking hitchhikers will cost you even more
While reading the previous page, you probably think you can just get your friends on your private jet. Sure, that will be fun, but also costly. You are not going to let your friends starve 20,000 feet above the ground, are you? And that bottle of super expensive beer you have been saving, you may have to open it up and share every sip.
Even in other scenarios, you still end up paying more. Let say you are one of those F1 drivers. And you decide to travel with other drivers, except your main competitor. Would you ask them to chip in? If so, that would probably the last time they fly with you. But if not, you end up letting them hitchhike. And it will definitely cost you more.
In the end, you will prefer flying alone. And we are going back in circle to the previous reasons why you should think twice in buying a private jet.
If you don’t believe me, ask Lewis Hamilton. The former F1 World Champion owns a private jet. But those other drivers choose to charter one themselves instead of hitchhiking Lewis. Why? I’ll leave that to you. Let’s get to the next page.
