12. High Estimated Budget
X-Men Apocalypse movie is all about action. The effects and animations are breathtaking. To produce such masterpiece with such great lines of actors and actresses, it should come as no surprise that this movie took millions of dollar to make.
The estimated budget is $178 million. It is considerably high. Most action movies only take around $50 million. Deadpool, for example, took $58 million.
However, that is quite average for commercial superhero movies. It is a little lower than the previous movie from the same franchise, X-Men Days of the Future Past, which took up to $200 million.
Compared to other superhero franchise from Marvel, it is even lower. The Avenger: Age of Ultron took up to $250 million. Well, we can blame Robert Downey Jr. for most of that.
