12. Taco Bell “Viva Young” – $7.6 million
We have mentioned about Super Bowl and the exclusiveness of the event’s ads spots. Have I also mentioned that each commercial can only take up to 30-second screen time?
Fortunately, this Taco Bell commercial made it to Super Bowl event, unlike the previous GoDaddy.com one we mentioned. This was shown at 2013 Super Bowl.
To make this commercial, the fast-food restaurant chain spent around $7.6 million. That is a lot of budget for advertising one wrap of taco or a bowl of nachos. But that is what we call marketing strategy.
This commercial is titled Viva Young. On the back ground, a Mexican version of We are Young is playing as some elder party-goers living their nightlife like a bunch of punk kids. They partied hard, pranked people, went to a tattoo shop, and wrapped their crazy night with a stop to Taco Bell.
