Dan Bilzerian is an American socialite, professional poker player, and trust fund beneficiary and his current net worth is $90 million.

Born in Tampa, Florida as the son of corporate takeover specialist Paul Bilzerian and Terri Steffen, Dan has a brother, fellow poker player, Adam Bilzerian.

Thanks to his father’s roots he is of Armenian descent and has said that half of his father’s family died during the Armenian Genocide.

His father, a corporate raider on Wall Street, set up trust funds for both of his sons, from where he received part of his money.

In 2000 he started the Navy SEAL program but after several attempts he failed to graduate. Turns out he dropped out of program because of a “safety violation on the shooting range”.

Ruderman had to go to prison, and they needed to help pay back some of the victims Ruderman had stolen from.

The same year, he raced and won a bet worth $375,000 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, against Tom Goldstein. He competed with a 1967 AC Cobra, while his opponent drove a Ferrari 458 Italia.

He spends his time between homes in Hollywood Hills, California and Las Vegas, Nevada, almost always partying.

Because of the lavish lifestyles he lives, he has suffered three heart attacks before he turned 32 years old.

Few years later, after he had some troubles with the law, and several lawsuits, he managed to get himself arrested at Los Angeles International Airport. Police charged him with unrelated bomb-making charges.

According to the police, they made an arrest based on a fugitive warrant from Nevada. They booked him at the LAPD’s Pacific Division.

On the day of his arrest police also released him from custody after charges dropped.

He received a fine of $17,231.50, because of a charge of “negligently failing to extinguish a fire in the open”. To that charge he pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor.
