Joseph Jefferson Jackson aka “Shoeless Joe”, was an American outfielder who played Major League Baseball in the early part of the 20th century.
He is famous for his performance on the field and for his alleged association with the Black Sox Scandal.
The baseball card with his name on it is called Joe Jackson 1910 and it made its way into the list with $199,750 almost two hundred thousand dollars.
The price is higher because the quality of the card is higher. It was sold in a very good condition. And there aren’t any data about other examples of the same card.
But one thing is for sure, when a card is priced at almost 200,000 dollars, is because the player was good and the card is rare.
