The American creator of the Dilbert comic strip is also the author of several nonfiction works of satire, commentary, business and general speculations.
His series called Dilbert gained popularity through the downsizing period in 1990s America and was then distributed worldwide.
Before Adams began to create and draw cartoons, he turned his attention to a career in Law and Management.
Basically he was a former worker in various roles at big business until 1995 when he became a full-time cartoonist.
He won two very prestigious awards, Best Newspapers Strip of 1997 and The National Cartoonists Society’s Reuben Award for Outstanding Cartoonist of the year.
