Mercedes-AMG Finally Unveils the $2.7 Million Hypercar They’ve Been Teasing as “Project ONE”
The Project ONE Hypercar is finally here and we gotta give it to Mercedes, it lives up to the hype!
Just a couple of days before the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show – which will start this Thursday – Mercedes-AMG gave us a glimpse at the Project ONE Hypercar that they’ve been teasing for a while now.
The car looks insane! You can tell that this particular car was inspired by Mercedes-Benz’ Formula One team; a 1.6-liter V6 hybrid of its 2017 F1 serves as its core, with the company claiming that the vehicle boasts 1,000 horsepower and a top speed of “beyond” 217 mph (350km/h).
This is not a luxurious car that you want to cruise in! On top of it, we can see a sleek shark fin and inside, the interior has been mostly stripped away to give you that race-car feeling.
The inspiration from their F1 car is clearly visible throughout the entire car and we can’t wait to get close to one!
Especially considering that Mercedes is ranked pretty high in our Top 10 most expensive cars in the world!

There are always cheaper options, but they’re not even in the same league or the same sport!
Even if you’re not a big fan, you gotta hand it to Mercedes for making a car that can clearly hold its own against something like a Porsche 918 Spyder.
As you would expect they made a teaser video for the car with the caption: “One day we’ll go further than ever before. The Future of Driving Performance has just begun. The Mercedes-AMG Project ONE show car.”
Production will be limited to 275 pieces and a big chuck of these have already been reserved in advance despite the $2.72 Million price tag!
