Four Seasons New York & Louis XII Teamed Up to Release the Cognac Experience

Four Seasons New York and Louis XIII Team Up for Luxury Cognac Experience

Starting this April, Four Seasons New York and Louis XIII will bring the luxury cognac experience closer to you! Find out how & where!

On the 13th of every month, a few lucky guests will be able to enjoy the one of the world’s finest cognacs in one of the best hotels in the world.

I said a few lucky guests because only a few people in this world will be able to afford this experience, and only a few will want to enjoy it.

Four Seasons is a Canadian international luxury hotels with their main base located in Toronto, Ontario. The company operates over one hundred hotels located all over the world.

Did you know that since 2007, Bill Gates and Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal have been majority owners of the company?

The Canadian company has teamed up with a company located in France, the House of Rémy Martin.

Louis XIII Cognac is made by the House of Rémy Martin, a French company, which was founded in 1924 by Rémy Martin, who came from a long line of wine makers from Charente.

Their main product, the Louis XIII cognac is a blend of an old eaux-de-vie from Cognac area. Because it is so old, it is considered to be one of the rarest and most valuable cognacs in the world.

The things that make it unique are its use of high-quality eaux-de-vie, the fact that they are exclusively from grapes from Grande Champagne, their long aging time and high aging potential, plus their limited supply.

It is recognizable by its unique bottle, a replica of a decanter that was discovered at the site of the Battle of Jarnac.

The Four Seasons Hotel New York has joined forces with Louis XII Cognac to create the Louis XIII Experience, an exclusive package only available to those who reserve the hotel’s Royal Suite of its exquisite Ty Warner Penthouse.

In order to enjoy the experience you must reserve the most expensive one-bedroom penthouse in North America for $50,000 a night on 13th of every month.

Your cognac experience will begin in your suite, where Philippe Vasilescu, Louis XIII’s New York Ambassador, will be joining you.

He will discuss the famous Cognac’s history, which goes back to 1874, and guide you through the highlights of the spirit’s complex taste.

Then you’ll serve the cognac, but not before a stunning ceremony, which uses a long, white-gold pipette to extract the liquid from the crystal decanter and release it into specially designed Louis XIII crystal glasses.

As you sip, you will also sample canapés, featuring such delicacies as Wagyu beef tartar, caviar, and truffles, that have been designed by Four Seasons New York executive chef John Johnson to complement and enhance Louis XIII’s flavor profile.

Then, a special made four-course dinner will be served with food inspired by the flavors of the Cognac.

The meal ends with dessert, and a final glass of Louis XIII for you to savor.

As a gift, you’ll receive a matching set of crystal glasses, provided by Rémy Martin, as well as an exclusive invitation from cellar master Baptiste Loiseau for a tour of the Rémy Martin Estate and Louis XIII cellars on your next visit to France.
