12. Monkey Forest in Ubud – Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton‘s popular catchphrase, “It’s hot!”, was taken to its literal meaning when she was vacationing in Bali. But the hot tropical weather did not stop her from having a great time. In fact, it was one of the main reasons why.
Through her social media, Paris shared her vacation photos. One of the places she took pictures at is the Monkey Forest in Ubud. It is a conservation center located in Padangtegal village. There are around 700 monkeys living in this 12.5-hectare of forest. And some of them were lucky enough to take selfies with Paris Hilton.
When you get bored or frustrated because you cannot differ each of 700 monkeys there, you can witness some events held within the forest area instead, such as cultural, religious ceremonies. Check the official website for list of upcoming events.
If you think Paris’s purple fabric didn’t fit her whole outfit, it’s because she didn’t pick it out of her wardrobe. The scarf and belt are parts of mandatory dress code for when you enter Hindu temples in Bali.
