The director, Andy Morhan helped Axl Rose put his recent separation into an amazing storyline.
That storyline got the lead singer hiding from a SWAT team, an ocean suicide attempt, and eventual rescue by dolphins, interwoven with scenes of the band’s live shows in a total of 9 minutes and $4 million.
The budget got boosted out by the use of a U.S. Coast Guard chopper and rescue squad, an oil tanker, and an Antonov An-124 Ruslan aircraft, not to mention all of the special effects.
