Playing since 1993, and 1994’s Rookie of the Year, Chris Webber’s career went from strength to strength until his retirement in 2008, despite his various legal troubles as part of the University of Michigan basketball scandal in 2002.
Webber is a five-time NBA All-Star and has played for the Sacramento Kings, Detroit Pistons and both began and ended his career with the Golden State Warriors. He was considered a major asset to every team he played for, the Golden State Warriors in particular, who didn’t reach the playoffs for seven years after Webber’s departure.
Webber continues to contribute to the NBA as an analyst on NBA Gametime Live and has appeared on TNT’s Inside the NBA.
