The third awesome brain food is the really healthy broccoli.
High in vitamin C and dietary fiber, broccoli is one of the healthiest foods out there. The green vegetable also contains nutrients which are known to have potent anti-cancer properties.
A single serving of the magic vegetables has more than 30 mg of vitamin C. Being a great source of vitamin K as well, broccoli is considered to enhance cognitive functions and improve brainpower.
But be careful how you eat it though, because boiled broccoli loses its anti-carcinogenic compounds. You can either steam it, microwave it or stir fry it, to make sure you get all the nutrients you need.
