Designed by Shanghai Godolphin this wine museum is quite amazing. But thanks to their great work, an ancient bunker where bullets were the centerpieces, now are replaced with bottles of wine.

The architecture found here is one of the finest we’ve ever seen, and the fact that they thought about making room for bottles of wine where bullets used to be is quite stunning if you ask me.

When you get inside the Shanghai International Wine & Spirits Museum you’ll be speechless while looking at how the wine has become the centerpiece.

Located in the Chenshan Botanical Gardens, inside of a cave, the museum will truly leave you without a word, thanks to the work of Godolphin.

The company has created a lavish museum and winery in an abandoned military bunker that was built over 80 years ago.

Originally built for an ex-leader of the Republic of China named Chan Kai Chek, the bunker was used to store artillery as well as national treasures during though times when the country was at war.

The bunker was intentionally placed there because of the cave’s internal fresh water lake.

The use of unfinished cement brick walls, the rough design complete with fancy chandeliers, gives the space a very rich, but dark minimalist touch.
