14. The Tunic of the Blessed Virgin (Price: $4,500)
The Tunic of the Blessed Virgin is a piece of clothing (tunic) which is believed to be worn by the Virgin Mary. It is also known as the Sancta Camisia.
According to legend, the tunic was worn by Mary during the birth of Christ. The Emperor Constantine VI gave it to Charlemagne during his visit to Jerusalem. Then he passed it on to the Chartres Cathedral in France in the year of 876.
In 1194, the church was damaged by fire. However, the tunic miraculously survived. The legend was never confirmed with any proof.
However, millions of people visit the Gothic church every year to take a look at this artifact. And it is still worth at least $4,500. Should the legend be proven true, its price will skyrocket.
