The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debuted in 1995 but was founded in 1977, is known for its dazzling lingerie, beautiful models and its extravagant catalogs.
The $6 billion fashion company holds an annual fashion show that nowadays is televised worldwide.
Their first appearance in New York City had a budget of only $120,000 and their models were basically walking the stage in their underwear.
Today, everything has changed; they reached millions of dollars each year just to put on the performance.
The total costs include the prices of the pieces, the salary of the models, the performers, the hosts, makeup, artists and every man and equipment that is involved in the display.
10. Victoria’s Secret Show in 2005- $10 million
When Tyra Banks retired from being a Victoria’s Secret angels, they spend $10 million of the fashion show.
It was the last time Tyra Banks had been involved in the fashion shows was also her retirement from modeling. The show was held at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City.
The models presented at the fashion show were Tyra Banks, Naomi Campbell, Gisele Bündchen, Alessandra Ambrosio and Heidi Klum.
The performances included Seal, Ricky Martin and Lenny Kravitz.
