This is Malibu’s most expensive listing ever at $80 million! Check it out and see the incredible pictures!

This new luxurious establishment wants to break all the records in Malibu, after listed for sale at $80 million.

Built on the old site of the iconic Malibu Castle, the property is set on 3.5 acres, adjacent to the Serra Retreat.

Offering astonishing views of the Santa Monica Bay, Catalina Island, to whoever decides to buy it, this estate features incredible interiors.

Rebuilt after a devastating fire that happened ten years ago, the estate has, among other things, a 400-foot private, double gated driveway.

After the fire, the estate developer and architect Scott Gillen bought the impressive property for $9.7 million. He put the house through some hard process, but the result is incredible.

“I think people know me from my open space homes,” Gillen says. “The size of the great room at the ‘Castle’ is so massive that the challenge was to create a great room that was seamless. That’s difficult to do in a room that spans over 120 feet long.”

How many rooms?

The magnificent property features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, as well as a motor court and valet stand.

Thanks to Scott Gillen and his hard work, this house became one of the most expensive homes in the world.

With Scott Gillen worked famous designers like Minotti and Bottega Veneta to turn it into a gateway gem.

The designers added some handmade rugs from New Zealand and a 12-foot teak dining table, to an already impressive building.

Who designed it?

Also featuring are custom teak doors and cabinetry, as well as 80-year-old, dry-aged oak flooring, complemented artwork by Ellesworth Kelly and Jonathan Burofsky.

How much money?

If you are looking to purchase the house, you’re going to need a lot of money to make that happen. Listed for $80 million, this is Malibu’s most expensive home.

There’s also a wine tasting room, a game room and media room, as well as breathtaking 75-foot infinity pool, with a waterfall.

What do you think? Would you want to purchase it?
