Saudi Aramco is a Saudi state-owned oil company, established in 1933 in collaboration with an American oil company. What you should know is that Saudi Aramco was not the initial name of the company.
At the beginning the first name was Casoc, later in 1944 due to the collaboration with an American oil company they changed it in Aramco the short from Arabian American Oil Company. The final one is the actual one, Saudi Aramco changed in 1988.
