7) Daredevil’s Costume – $57,500
This one comes from Marvel comics as well. The fictional character, the superhero was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Bill Everett.
His first appearance was on April 1964 in Daredevil #1. And this character also got a movie inspired by the Marvel superhero.
In the movie, Ben Affleck got to play Matt Murdock / Daredevil. And so his blood-red leather costume was sold on August 2008 by Profiles in History.
The costume consisted of: a leather jacket with “DD” insignia and padding, matching leather trousers and boots, leather cowl, gloves and a belt with a holster for weapons.
The lot also included Daredevil’s cane and three other staff weapons of assorted lengths.
