1913 ‘Girl on Hammock’ festoon – 80.000$
Mostly used as an ornament, the festoon is a piece of architecture carved in wood with different arrangements added to it.
So in that era the festoon was something to see hanging around from two ribbons, in our case a Coca-Cola ad. Why is this specific piece of collectible worth that much? Because it is probably the last of its kind, which brings something new to the festoon advertising art.
