11. Nikko Hurtado ($150 per hour)
Nikko Hurtado shares the same specialty in tattoo artwork with Bob Tyrrell. They are both into portraiture. While Bob specializes in black and gray artwork, Nikko chooses the colored one.
Nikko is also a familiar face to TV viewers. He has been featured in several TV shows such as Ink Master, Tattoo Wars, and LA Ink. And this has drawn the attention of public figures. Among them are Jesse James, Fred Durst, Chris Cole, and Drake. They even let him tattoo their precious skin.
The ultimate acknowledgement of how good you are as a tattoo artist is when another tattoo artist let you ink them with your artwork. Nikko has nailed that part as you can see one of his masterpieces on Kat Von D’s body.
