The newly opened Harry Potter coffee shop is located in Toronto, Canada. The Lockhart, opened its doors last Saturday, offering a friendly vibe to wizard wannabes and Muggles alike.
If you didn’t get the reference, it means that you are not a true Harry Potter fan. I will tell you. The Lockhart is a reference to the vain Defense Against the Dark Arts professor in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
This coffee shop has subtle references to the magical tale in the décor and drink names.
“Without knowing any of the Harry Potter stuff, you already will think of this as a cool bar,” co-owner Paris Xerx tells Now Toronto. “You’d come here and see the stag’s head on the wall and go, ‘Wow, I love that,’ but a Harry Potter fan might say, ‘That’s a Patronus.’”
