Fusion as a word has been in Hublot vocabulary for quite some time now, and it is synonym with the concept of mixing materials, something that has been in company’s blood since the beginning.
Fusion of gold and ceramic, fusion of metals and rubber, fusion of gold and leather, fusion of everything you can think of, and more. Hublot dares to dream bigger than others when it comes to the quality of its products.
Using authentic fabric dials and straps for the Hublot Classic Fusion Italia Independent collection, the result was a splendid collaboration with the highly creative Lapo Elkann.

However this is not the first time the two geniuses team up to create amazing timepieces. Two collections have been released from the partnership that started in 2014, between Hublot and Italia Independent and Lapo Elkann.
Unlike the other collections, this one will go on new territories, will be more subtle, more on the codes of masculine elegance and sartorial.
The aim was to push the concept of fusion and of customization and bespoke design to the highest level possible.
And the result was six different timepieces of the Hublot Classic Fusion collection.

Basically we’re dealing with the same 45 mm case, able to handle 50-meter deep waters and housing the HUB1143 caliber, automatic chronograph movement, and the satin finish and polished titanium, plus 42 hours-worth of backup power.
