The New Hublot Big Bang Unico GMT Will Make You Want to Have One Right Away!

The New Hublot Big Bang Unico GMT Will Take Your Breath Away!

Just one of the brand’s most notable new releases, the new Hublot Big Bang Unico GMT is here and we love it!

Hublot was among several luxury watch brands present at the showing in Baselwood. They brought to Geneva the Hublot Bing Bang Unico GMT, which marks the debut of an all-new user-friendly second-time-zone function that is perfect for avid travelers.

The watch’s Unico movement was mixed with a new, proprietary module that lets you change the local time with a simple push of a button, while still showing the home time.

This is possible because the watch is synchronized with a day-night display, on a second, arrow-shaped hour hand set by the crown.

The two push-buttons that control the second-time-zone function are located at 2 o’clock and 4 o’clock on the 45-mm case.

Their shape, which is rectangular, reminds us of early Hublot Big Bang watches, that is also the thing that differentiates them visually from the other models.

The 2 o’clock pusher moves the hour hand forward in one-hour increments, and the 4 o’clock pusher moves it backward in the same segments.

The local time is set independently of the other hands; the gears for the minutes and seconds are not driven, meaning it is not necessary to synchronize all of the hands with every change of time zone.

“With its trademark ingenuity, Hublot has simplified the use of a complex complication: GMT From one time zone to another, at the push of a button.”

The open-worked dial, a unique feature of the Big Bang Unico series, is made to display both time zones in the same time, adding to its legibility,

You can have the Hublot Big Bang Unico GMT with either a titanium or carbon fiber case.

The watch also comes on a structured, ribbed, black and blue rubber strap that can be easily moved and replaced with Hublot’s recent release “One Click” interchangeable strap system.

Composed of 358 pieces, it features automatic winding, a 28,800-vph (4 Hz) frequency, and a 72-hour power reserve.

If you are looking to add one to your collection, let me tell you that the prices for the titanium version are $19,900 and $23,100 for the carbon fiber.

Would you buy a timepiece like this? You might also want to see the most expensive Hublot watches, maybe there is something you like!
