Designed by Breitling, a watchmaker based in Switzerland, the new Breitling Colt Skyracer is a watch priced more reasonable than its brothers and sisters.
If you didn’t know, Breitling is a Swiss watchmaker that was founded in 1884 by Léon Breitling in Saint-Imier.
The company is famous for its precision-made chronometers which are often used and useful to aviators.

Breitling will release the Colt Skyracer at Baselworld 2017, which a tool watch made perfectly. It is as supposed to be, comfortable, durable, legible, and reliable.
In other words, this luxury watch has an affordable price, considering all the cool features it has.
The Breitling Colt Skyracer is water-resistant to 100 m/330 ft, and also is distinguished by its exclusive black rubber strap bearing various measurement scales that are useful to adventurers of all kinds: 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 scales on the 12 o’clock strap section, centimeters and inches on the 6 o’clock section.
An ingenious removable fastening system enables the wearer to quickly and easily remove the section of their choice and use it as a measuring instrument.
The timepiece combines the company’s new Breitlight carbon case material with an minimalist dial, which is easy to read. It features a very accurate thermocompensated caliber 74 SuperQuartz movement.
Breitlight is distinguished by numerous qualities: exceptional resistance to scratches, traction and corrosion; anti-magnetic, anti-allergenic properties; as well as a warmer ‘touch’ than metal and a slightly mottled effect accentuating its originality.
The battery of this stunning piece won’t run out of juice for eight years, so you don’t need to worry about changing it.

The dial features white luminescent hands and indications that stand out against the black background, red accents reminiscent of instrument panels and a sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides.

Its 45 mm case in Breitlight is 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than steel, yet significantly harder.
This watch is due to be launched officially at BaselWorld in March and should be available from Authorised Dealers from late May.
