Tom Ford & Shinola Partner Up To Release Luxury Watches Made in Switzerland!

The wait is over guys because Tom Ford & Shinola Partner up to release luxury watches made in Switzerland!

We’ve been looking for so long for Tom Ford to release a watch collection, and it is finally happening!

The U.S. fashion label is extending its brand and creates Swiss-made luxury watches!

Because it is their first time into a new area, Tom Ford is partnering with Bedrock Manufacturing Company, the parent of Shinola and Filson to bring you something really special.

Everyone knows that ever since the release of the brand, Tom Ford label has been focusing on conquering one category, before moving to another, building up its name slowly but surely.

Launched in 2005, the brand’s focus has been on accessories category, with their first products including Marchon-licensed eyewear and beauty collection in partnership with Estée Lauder.

Then, after two years into the business game, the brand opened its first store and began selling menswear and accessories, later adding women’s wear.

Looking back at the history of the brand we notice that it comes natural for Tom Ford to have a partner.

So, nothing is wrong with this partnership with Shinola; timepieces signed Tom Ford will be designed manufactured and distributed in collaboration with Bedrock.

Shinola has been on the fast track to becoming a staple of American fashion culture since making its debut in 2013 with its own Detroit-based brand named for a famed shoe polish of the 1940s.

Adding Filson-branded watches to its repertoire two years ago has not hurt this standing; in fact, it’s probably added to it.

Drawing on the expertise of Swiss watchmaking, the timepieces will be produced by both Bedrock’s team and its manufacturing partners.

“Watches have long been an obsession of mine and I have been waiting for the perfect moment in our brand development to introduce this category and have also waited for the perfect partner,” designer Tom Ford said in a brand statement.

“We have found that in Tom Kartsotis and Bedrock Manufacturing Company.

“His passion and expertise in the industry are unparalleled and I could not be more excited to embark on this venture with Tom and the team at Bedrock.”

The first time, at the moment of the launch, Tom Ford Timepieces will retail via limited distribution.

But on the when, the brand has yet to share specifics about the launch strategy and about the products.

For the Tom Ford timepieces, it will establish a presence in Switzerland, marking its first entry into Swiss-made watches and also its first tie up with a designer label for watches.

Stay tuned for more information, but we are sure that the watches will have a “luxury timepiece price positioning.”

Now the question that remains is would you be buying watches signed by Tom Ford?
