Can You Believe that Kormaran K7 Personal is a Transforming Watercraft?

Check Out the Amazing Kormaran K7 Luxury Personal Watercraft!

The amazing-looking Kormaran K7 luxury Personal Watercraft will help you bring out the spy inside you!

In the promotional clip released by the company, the Kormaran K7 watercraft looks like a prop from sci-fi movies that come complete with scenic destinations, dramatic music and the entire package you need for a blockbuster.

Either you love sci-fi movies or not, you are going to love the amazing K7, which has the features of a catamaran, tirmaran, monohull, or even a hydrofoil.

This speedboat can actually transform its shape and pilot settings, because of a set of electronically activated hydraulic-arms, when drawn inward, the outrigger changes shapes into a monohull watercraft.

Deploying the arms partially lets the body stands above the water surface, acting as dual hulls of a catamaran watercraft.

If you are deploying them entirely it will allow the body to be submerged, effectively becoming the third hull of a trimaran watercraft.

A set of fold-out hydrofoils enables the lifting of the body further above the water in monohull mode, creating a smooth experience that reduces water resistance by up to 80 and consumes less fuel.

Pretty cool, what do you think? The 23-foot speedboat has a body made from carbon fiber, its hydraulic arms are made from titanium and stainless steel. Its interior features the best soft leather so you will be as comfortable as possible.

The hull and deck are covered in veneers of black-joined teak wood, which gives it the luxurious touch.

At dusk, an intelligent lighting system navigates the pilot through dark conditions, while red LEDs + aquamarine strip lighting create the ideal lighting to view the ocean at night.

The K7’s 493 horsepower ‘triple-jet-drive’ gives it a top speed of 45 mph (70 km/h).

Dr. Oliver Kormann, who spent more than a decade working in the German automotive industry, has used the experience he gained there to aid in the design and construction of the Kormaran.

He approached the project as he would any new performance-car design, using state-of-the-art materials.

“The goal was to combine the experience of driving a cabriolet-style super sports car with the precise construction techniques used in the aviation industry,” says Kormann, who likens his one-of-a-kind boat to a waterborne Bugatti or Aston Martin.

Kormann designed the transformer boat with the latest composites and alloys.

“The carbon-fiber parts were developed with Formula 1 technology and produced with the same quality standards of super sports cars,” he says. “We are also using aircraft technology for the hydrofoil Flight Mode.”

At top speed, the $1.5 million Kormaran will run 44 knots in hydrofoil form.
