Oceanco’s Amara Superyacht Is a Luxurious Floating Resort
Oceanco’s Amara Superyacht is a place to be for those who are looking for a quiet, luxurious place.
Fresh out of the oven, the Amara yacht was designed by Dutch Superyacht builder, Oceanco in partnership with Sam Sorgiovanni Designs, and presented at the Dubai International Boat Show.
The company has released Amara, a new 120m (394ft) yacht concept which they described it as a “resort” yacht.
Oceanco says the Superyacht features unparalleled living and entertainment facilities for up to 20 guests, so parties here are not a problem.
Commenting on the project, Sorgiovanni says: “In designing the exterior lines of Amara, I wanted to portray a very strong and muscular form that was progressive in design but with a timeless appeal.
“Its long bow accentuates the vessel’s generous proportions. Most importantly, the interior and exterior design works in harmony to create a holistic feeling of a relaxed well-appointed resort.”
The yacht has living and entertainment facilities for up to 20 guests, with an interior with natural timber, stone and textural carpets and fabrics.
The yacht’s lower level deck opens to reveal an “expansive” beach club resort, offering access to the sea; port starboard and aft.
Amara even has a “wellness” area with its own beauty treatment lounge and even a 16-person cinema.
The upper deck has a waterfall that floats down into the main deck’s swimming pool; it’s also home to an owner’s apartment with a private plunge pool.
The interior itself is a contemporary take on the yachting lifestyle, with natural timber, stone and textural carpets and fabric blends to create an inviting and natural environment.
The gym, cabana style open-air cinema on the sun deck, climbing walls, water slides and arsenal of superyacht toys make Amara one of the most exciting superyachts you find on the market today.
The 2017 Dubai International Boat Show has more than one beautiful vessel on display, and is set to close on the 4th of March.
