Samuel Eto’o is a Cameroonian professional footballer and his current net worth is $108 million.
Eto joined Real Madrid’s youth academy in 1997 but could only train with Real Madrid B because of his age.
Until then he trained at the Kadji Sports Academy in Cameroon. Because non-EU players weren’t allowed to Real Madrid B, he moved to the second division Leganés.
He made 30 appearances for Leganés and only scored four goals. After that he returned to Madrid.
The next season he left Real Madrid for Mallorca, signing a deal for a club record of £4.4 million fee.
In the next season with Mallorca he scored 11 goals and started to catch everyone’s eye all throughout the league.
Mallorca President said that he loved Eto’s style of play. While at the team, he donated €30,000 in meals to travelling Mallorca supporters who made the journey to the Copa del Rey final against Recreativo de Huelva.
This act of kindness grew fans’ appreciation for him.
Mallorca won the match 3–0, with Eto’o scoring two late goals to seal the victory.
Today he plays as a striker for Turkish club Antalyaspor and is the most decorated African player of all time.
