Dhani Harrison is a British multi-instrumentalist musician, composer and singer-songwriter, and his current net worth is $300 million.
He grew up next to his parents in the house, on which his father had lived since 1970.
During his teenage years he went to Dolphin School, a Montessori-method school, then in Badgemore Primary School, Henley-On-Thames.
He later went to Shiplake Collage, where he enrolled in the Combined Cadet Force and developed a keen interest in rowing.
Harrison is also an alumnus of Brown University, Providence, where he learned industrial design and physics, getting a bachelor’s degree.
Before deciding to follow in his father’s footsteps as a musician, he became a car designer at McLaren Automotive.
The only child of George and Olivia Harrison started his career assisting in recording his father’s last album. He then completed with the help of Jeff Lynne after George’s death in 2001.
He won Best Pop Instrumental Performance with the song Marwa Blues at 2004 Grammy Awards.
After a while he started his own band, thenewno2, which performed in many famous festivals including Coachella.
GAP’s fall global campaign, entitled Back to Blue, had Dhani as their face of the campaign. Still in 2013, he started his career as a composer, and contributed to Warner Bros.’ Beautiful Creatures.
He has also done the music for some TV shows such as Good Girls Revolt, Learning to Driver, as well as for Paul Giamatti-produced show Outsiders.
His music collaborations include various genres and artists such as touring with Eric Clapton, appearing on the Wu-Tang Clan’s song “The Heart Gently Weeps”, and many more.
One of his most notable collaborations is at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, where he appeared next to Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, and Prince. There he performed While My Guitar Gently Weeps, to mark the posthumous induction of his father.
His dedication for his father’s music got him a long run of show on Conan, dedicated to George Harrison.
Apart from his music, he has collaborated in the development of The Beatles: Rock Band, a music video game released on 9 September 2009.
