You Are Not Going to Believe Who Bought KFC’s $20,000 Meteorite Shaped like a Fried Chicken Sandwich!
KFC’s $20,000 meteorite shaped like a fried chicken sandwich now belongs to someone! Find out who bought it!
Among the years we’ve seen many rocks turned into everyday objects like the pistols made for a bad-ass dude, but we’ve never come across something like this.
With a lot of rocks floating around out in space, KFC found one and shaped it like their famous chicken sandwich.
When those rocks find their way to Earth, you have to expect they are going to sell for tons of money.
There is also an entire industry which buys and sells pieces of space rock that have dropped on our planet, and people are willing to spend big bucks on them.
The fired chicken chain is one of those people who sell space junk, and it has put its meteorite up for sale on its online store.
How much it weights?
Shaped like a chicken sandwich, the rock weighs 9.5 pounds, and measures nearly six inches across and is almost four inches tall.
We are not kidding, this is a piece of genuine space rock, or so the company says.
However, they aren’t selling it like they found it, no. The company hired three artists to carve it into a shape of a chicken sandwich.
“This one-of-a-kind meteorite is a real, space-made meteorite from space,” KFC explains on the listing page.
“Sculpted by the harsh elements that exist in the vastness of space (and then later by three artists named Haley, Scott, and Mike), this Zinger chicken sandwich-shaped meteorite has all the Zinger chicken sandwich-shaped details you’ve come to expect from the Zinger chicken sandwich.
Don’t miss your chance to own this very significant and very heavy piece of chicken sandwich space travel history.”
In addition to the shape, this sandwich-shaped meteorite comes with a price tag of $20,000.
So, would you like to buy it?
Turns out someone already did. According to KFC, the buyer of this meteorite prefers to remain anonymous, but assures us she’s is for real. Which means, whoever bought this space rock is a woman.
According to the client, she had purchased it for her husband, a huge Zinger fan.
But as it turns out, her husband couldn’t have enjoyed this sandwich, because the family is officially vegan.
