Well, turns out that Harrods has discovered the secret and started displaying real-life Aston Martin cars, because why not?!
The shoppers in London’s Knightsbridge that passes the store lately had the surprise to the Aston Martin cars displayed at Harrods.
For everyone delight, especially to car lovers, the Harrods’ display features a DB11, V12 Vantage S and Vanquish S.
Like a little break here, Harrods is a luxury department store owned by the state of Qatar. The store has 330 departments covering one million square feet of retail space.
Yes, if you were wondering the store is that big that it can fit a lot of cars, not just three Aston Martin.
The three Aston Martin sport cars will take over the storefront of the world’s most famous luxury department store in a celebration of the British Heritage of Aston Martin that will last a month.
The reason why they chose to display the DB11 is that is their first product launched under the company’s “Second Century” plan. The car is the bold new figurehead of illustrious ‘DB’ bloodline and an authentic, dynamic sporting GT in the finest Aston Martin tradition.
Also, it reminds everyone of James Bond, am I right?
There is the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S also displayed. The aggressively styled V12 Vantage is an unprecedented engineering achievement.
The brand new Vanquish S, the ultimate Super GT completes the display.
Aston Martin Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman said: “Harrods is one of the world’s most trusted luxury brands and we are delighted to join forces with them to create this unique display.”
The visitors will be able to discover more about the Aston Martin product range thanks to specialties from Aston Martin headquarters.
Both the window display and exhibition area will remain in place until 25th March 2017.
