Kristen Wiig is an American actress, comedian, writer, and producer and her current net worth is $22 million.
Born in Canandaigua, New York, as the daughter of Jon Wiig, who ran a lake marina, and Laurie, an artist, her name “Wiig” comes from Norway.
At three years old, she along with her family moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. While there she attended Nitrauer Elementary School and Manheim Township Middle School until eight grade.
Then she moved to Rochester, New York, with her family. While there she went to Allendale Columbia School for ninth and tenth grade.
Later on, she graduated from Brighton High School and left to try college, but returned to Rochester because she couldn’t find want she wanted.
While in Rochester she went to community college, as well as doing a three-month outdoor living program. During this time, she had no performing ambitions.
Then attended the University of Arizona where she majored in art. After taking an acting class in college to fulfill a course requirement, the teacher said she should continue.

Throughout her career, she has returned to SNL a couple of times.
In 2006 she made her film debut in the 2006 Christmas movie Unaccompanied Minors.
The following period she starred in Knocked Up, as well as having minor roles in several films including Ghost Town.
