The Story behind the $1bn ‘Vineyard’ Real Estate that Even Brad Pitt Couldn’t Afford
This is the story of that $1bn ‘Vineyard’ real estate that has been owned by some of the richest people in the world.
Packed with panoramic views of Los Angeles, this real estate has been owned by some of the most famous celebrities, including royalty.
The place is so wonderful that also attracted the attention of many others, including actor Brad Pitt who was told that he would need to make ‘another movie or two’ to afford it.
Now the extremely coveted piece of real estate located in Beverly Hills, is being valued at $1 billion, but it is not for sale.
Its 157-acre plot has been undeveloped for decades, despite garnering an enormous amount of interested from the wealthy.
This place is one of the most famous places, we believe everyone was once interested in buying this piece of real estate. For example, once actor Tom Cruise placed an offer, but with no luck.
And of course, many others have come and made plans for the property, but in the end all that have faded and the property remains impressively empty.
That’s such shame, because it has amazing unparalleled views of the city, including the star-studded community of Beverly Park.
Without any surprise, The Vineyard has come to be named one of the most valuable undeveloped residential plots in the world.
The property’s history is quite impressive. The land now belongs to Secured Capital Partners.
The area has been under development for twelve years and currently is being used as a part-time event venue for charity events.
‘This is one of the most exceptional properties I’ve ever seen in my 30-year career,’ Jeff Hyland, of Hilton & Hyland, told The Hollywood Reporter. ‘This is as good as it gets.’
The Vineyard, which features a helicopter pad, was created after a single buyer apparently bought several small lots and combined them.
The Vineyard Beverly Hills had a loan from the Mark Hughes Trust. The amount owed based on the settlement agreement which the court found enforceable was $57.5M.
A part of it was owned by Hollywood producer Jack Bean and his wife, actress and singer Mitzi Gaynor, before they sold up in the late 1970s. The sister of the Shah of Iran, Shams Pahlavi, snapped up the property in 1977, although title deeds in her name are yet to be uncovered.
However, during the Iranian Revolution in 1979, Iranian students apparently ‘marched up’ to the princess’s then-home in Beverly Hills.
The property has seen some amazing concerts and events. For example, last December, singer Rihanna performed as the headline act at a ‘diamond ball’ charity event at The Vineyard. Guests included Donald Trump.
And last march, actress Charlize Theron used the land to throw a party in aid of her Africa Outreach Project.
A description of The Vineyard on the site reads: ‘The Vineyard offers a level of security and privacy only heightened by astonishing views that cannot be matched by any other development in the country.”
‘Simply describing the views as “unparalleled panoramic views of Los Angeles all the way to the ocean” falls short of the almost “god-like” experience had by each of the privileged few who have accessed the site. It’s designated as the most exclusive land in America.”
It adds: ‘The Vineyard has been called one of the most beautiful properties in the world and is estimated to have a value of as much as $1billion’.
The Managing Member of Secured Capital Partners is Victor Noval. And the family is making the property available for Charity Events. Check out more on their website: vineyardbeverlyhills.com.
