Donald Trump’s Old Custom Cadillac Limo is On the Market for $62,000
Donald Trump’s old custom Cadillac Limo is on sale at a dealership in Gloucester for a safety sum of $62,000.
The exotic, constrained adaptation Cadillac limo was custom built for the US President and was a first part of a deliberate run of 50 vehicles bearing Trump’s title.
The custom built limo, which belonged to Trump, has made history among past Cadillac limousines.
The chrome-winged Cadillac of the 1980s, which Trump had commissioned, became “the most opulent stretch limousine made.”
The opulent limousine featured a bar, another bar, gold, a cathode-ray tube television screen, and many more exquisite features.
The initial plan was to build 50 examples each of two slightly different models. The Trump Golden Series was designed to be the best version, complete with fax machine, paper shredder, a VCR and plenty of rosewood trim.
Basically, Trump wanted a mobile office, haha, while the Trump Exclusive Series was meant to be a slightly different version of the same.
Trump mentioned the project in his best-selling manuscript “The Art of the Deal.”
“A decision has been made to go into production on two Cadillac-body limousines using my name. The Trump Golden Series will be the most opulent stretch limousine made. The Trump Executive Series will be a slightly less lavish version of the same car.”
Based on Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham bodies with section inserted between the B- and C-pillars, the two cars were partially adorned with a huge vertical slab of chrome.
“There is so much interest in President Trump and this one-off opportunity to purchase both a piece of history and a potential investment means that we are expecting this to attract a lot of interest from UK buyers,” added Exchange and Mart exec Thom Coupar-Evans.
And because a limo used by Trump had to have gold accents, this one is no exception.
The Trump-branded limo had gold accents applied to the housing of the door handles, interior trim, and things like the door locks, and exterior badging.
“It is a numerous vehicle that offers a rare possibility for collectors and enthusiasts to purchase an automobile in order that it’ll at all times entice passion,” said Sean Tanner, business Director at Severnvale cars.
“We know the current proprietor smartly, he provided the Cadillac ten years in the past and it’s been his pride and pleasure and it has even starred in a few films, so we hope this may increasingly fetch an excellent price.”
