This new addition to Pagani portfolio is a lighter, more powerful version of the Huayra Coupe. You can actually feel the Roadster’s weight savings!
According to the company, the transmission is 40% lighter than the dual-clutch unit found in its brother released before.
Because it is noticeably lighter, the car’s power increased. The vehicle packs a V12 engine, custom-built for Pagani by Mercedes-AM, which delivers power of 764 HP at 6200 RPM, with a torque of over 1000 NM available at 2400 RPM.
Pagani describes its latest creation as “an unbridled work of art, intelligence and open-air passion, and most complicated project [the company has] ever undertaken.”
Under the hood the car looks amazing, but the interior is even more amazing. The beige leather finish is complemented with intricate blue stitching, with carbon fiber which gives the car a more luxurious aspect.
Plus, there is an aluminum gear level completing its opulent interior.
This Italian supercar seems to be checking nearly all the supercar boxes like ostentatious, gullwing doors, obscene power, styling that scream “I am rich”.
“The Huayra Roadster Project began in 2010, with the ostensibly simple idea of a Huayra Coupe with a removable roof and conventional doors, as was developed for the Zonda Roaster in 2003.
In 2013, the design was scrapped and everything restarted from the beginning of the design process. Each Pagani creation has a life of its own; every detail must have its own harmony in line with the spirit and soul of the machine car. The Pagani Huayra Roadster became a project independent of its predecessor, a machine car with its own soul.”

This new car will have two types of roof. The first is a very light carbon hard top with a central glass element very simple, and quick to install. The second type of roof is a fabric and carbon mix that can be easily installed manually and can be stored inside the car.
With only 100 models of the supercar available, each Pagani Huayra Roadster will be priced at $2.4 million.
