President Donald Trump’s daughter is having trouble finding a buyer or tenant for her Manhattan apartment for quite some time now.
Ivanka’s apartment was bought in 2004 for $1.52 million and has been cutting from the asking rent after having no luck in locating a buyer.
She and her husband, Jared Kushner, who serves as senior adviser to President Donald Trump, first put the apartment on the market late December for $4.1 million.
At the same time, the couple was also renting the condo located at Trump Park Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, asking for $15,000/month.
According to the listing, they are still asking for $4.1 million for the apartment, but they have cut the renting price a bit, to $13,000.
The two-bedroom, two-bathroom home includes solid oak floors, beamed ceilings, a spacious master bedroom with an en-suite marble bath, and a large corner living room/dining room area with oversized windows.
It seems like this home isn’t the family’s main residence as the couple with their three children lived in a four-bedroom penthouse in the same building before moving to DC, according to some media reports.
Maybe they are coming back there, because that unit isn’t for sale. But look at the bright side: you can be Ivanka’s neighbor!
The building, where the apartment is located, was bought by President Trump in 2001 for $115 million, according to the Real Deal.
It has 24-hour hotel and valet services, daily maid/laundry service, a fitness center and a live-in resident manager.
The listing agent, Nitza Shafrir Zinbarg from Trump International Realty, and a spokesperson for the Trump Organization did not respond immediately to requests for comment.
