Check Out the Design of Nouveau Superyacht Concept by Andy Waugh

Nouveau Superyacht concept by Andy Waugh will absolutely blow your mind! This piece of futuristic design was developed by Andy Waugh.

Who is Andy Waugh?

Andy’s passion for fine design began at early age and is more than evident today in the amazing designs and images he makes.

After graduating from the prestigious Transport Design course at Coventry University in 2004, he took his first job at KKG Catamarans in Vienna.

Four years later, he returned to the UK and joined the team at H2 Yacht Design where his first major project was the award winning MEYA MEYA.

While he was a part of the team at H2, Andy gained a lot of experience from working on several live projects.

And now he still manages to catch the eyes of high profile clients, and with this new concept, the eyes of everyone.

What is the Nouveau Concept?

The Nouveau is a concept that breaks the rules of the yacht aesthetic to an extreme degree which is made possible because of the sophisticated surface manipulation and careful management of 3D space.

Then the tense, diagonal lines create the drama whilst and reveal a spacious interior, main deck head being 2.7m, leaving unimaginable possibilities for equally exciting interior spaces.

The bridge deck features a full width suite with balconies on both sides aligned with circular profile graphics and the main deck entrance underneath.

‘The sweeping, tentacle like bulwark adds to the drama of the exterior styling whilst providing an enhanced sense of light, space and connection to the environment for the interior.’

‘Sunbathing and informal lounging areas make up the owners aft deck which is linked to the decks above and below by spiral staircases and water feature which runs from the sun-deck Jacuzzi, across the bridge and owners decks and then down via a water-slide into the main deck pool.’

The entire purpose of this is to enhance the feeling of being at one with nature and the seascape, which for many of us is everything we want.

From Where Did Andy Get His Inspiration?

The design was inspired by the works of the classical exponents of the Art Nouveau style, including Alphonse Mucha and Antoni Gaudi.

And it ‘encapsulates the key principles of dynamism and organic form in an innovative and audacious manner’, like the designer is saying on his website.

The Best Feature of This Superyacht?

On the main deck twin VIP cabins are located, with fold down balconies while dining and lounging space is to the aft and leads out onto an intimate deck with relaxed décor and an infinity pool.

And if you are a busy person that also needs an office, the yacht is providing that for you. The office is situated aft of the wheelhouse.

‘The intimate sun deck above provides a secluded retreat from the other social areas on board and a perfect place for 360 degree viewing the scenery.’

Who Did He Had In Mind When Created Such Design For A Yacht?

The superyacht concept is aimed for the modern client with only intimate friends who prefers to define themselves by their style and taste in design rather than by sheer size.

All Andy Waugh needs right now is a billionaire with a lot of money who will help him put all his ideas into motion. Which reminds me, if you think this yacht is amazing, wait until you see the most expensive yacht!

Would you like to own this superyacht? What do you think?
