The 200-year-old bottle of Chateau d’Yquem 1811 was bought by Christian Vanneque, who paid $117,000 for it.
It all happened in 2011, when Christian Vanneque bought the wine and broke the record of the most expensive bottle of white wine in the world.
Christian Vanneque bought the wine from The Antique Wine Company and said he intends to display the bottle behind the bullet proof glass at his Balinese restaurant, Sip Sunset Grill.
With only 10 bottles of the 1811 vintage left, the white wine sure deserves to be displayed behind a bullet proof glass.
