10.Sarojin Resort & Gellert Thermal Baths
We start our journey with two pools, because they are known to be two of the most luxurious and opulent pools in the world, but their prices are uncertain.
First we have the Sarojin Resort, which was estimated to cost $1 million, but nothing was official.
Located in Thailand, the resort had quite a difficult start. It was meant to open in 2004, but it had to be rebuild due to the damages of the tsunami; despite the troubles, the resort has been named Asia’s most luxurious small hotel, and the pool rises to the standards.
The infinity pool measures measures 269 square feet (25 square meters) and the tropical landscape makes the experience simply amazing.
Our next secret priced pool is located in Budapest, Hungary.
The Gellert Thermal Baths resort was built between 1912 an 1918, and measures more than 7.500 square feet (700 square meters). Since it was built so long ago, it is hard to know how much it costed, but one thing is for sure: this is a luxurious place.
With outdoor wave pool, children’s pool, and luxurious Roman baths, the pools in Gellert are fed by more than 100 hot mineral springs that are believed by many to have natural healing properties.
