Las Vegas Now Has a Moët & Chandon Champagne Vending Machine And We Want that in Our Office
A Moët & Chandon Champagne vending machine is real and Las Vegas is the place to see it!
You know that Las Vegas is the Sin City, the place where the most luxurious and extravagant experiences happen but we did not see a champagne vending machine coming!
But I guess we should have seen it coming, because everything is taken up to the next level in Los Angeles!
This vending machine located on the 23rd floor Sky Lobby at Mandarin Oriental is full of mini bottles of Moet & Chandon champagne.
According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, you can buy a 200ml bottle of Rose wine or Imperial Brut from the machine.
This vending machine is the first Moet & Chandon, but it is not the only one in United States. Monet-Hennessy’s corporate offices in New York also have one of these machines, which can hold up to 320 bottles.
Each bottle comes with a champagne flute, and the machine is engineered to not shake the bottles, in order to prevent a foamy mess.
But this is not a normal vending machine that works with US coins and bills, no. If you want to have one of the champagne bottles you need to get a special gold coin for $20 from the front desk.
Then, with that gold coin, you can use the vending machine to grab whatever bottle you wish.
Did you think that a fancy vending machine that disperses champagne bottles will work with regular bills? Haha
It might be a little overpriced, but you don’t get to use a vending machine to buy champagne every day, and after all, this is Vegas, mate.
But then again, you can always just go out and buy a full-size bottle and spare yourself the absurdity of inserting a giant gold coin into a champagne vending machine, but it won’t be from a vending machine; it will be just mainstream.
