Eden Hazard is a Belgian professional footballer and his current net worth is $120 million.
Born in La Louvière to Carnie and Thierry, both footballers, he grew up in Braine-le-Comte.
His father played at semi-professional level with La Louvière and his mother played as a striker in the Belgian Women’s First Division.
Both of his parents became sports teachers after they retired from football.
Hazard is the eldest of four children, all of whom play football, of the couple. All of the children grew in comfortable environment with their parents who made sure they’d get everything they needed.
They lived just a few steps away from a football training ground, where the brothers often went to do a training pitch through a small hole, in order to develop their skills.
At the age of four, Hazard started his football career playing for hometown club Royal Stade Brainois.
While at the club, one of his youth coaches described him as gifted player.
Before moving to Tubize, he spent eight years playing for the club. While at Tubize, a Lille scout spotted him while playing in a local tournament.
The club offered him a contract, which his parents accepted with hopes that the training facilities in France would be better.
After becoming a member of the Lille team in 2005 he spent two years developing in the club’s local sports school.
Then he signed his first professional contract agreeing to a three-year deal with the club.
He made his amateur debut in 2007 in a league game against Racing Club de France. Then a week later he made his first start in the team’s 1-0 defeat to Lesquin.
Few months later he made his professional debut 18-man squad team to face Nancy in a league match.
In 2012, after spending over eight years at Lille, Hazard signed for English club Chelsea.
Today he plays for English club Chelsea and the Belgium national team as an attacking midfielder and as a wide midfielder.
